Things are slowing down a bit as we're nearing the end of summertime. Our teacher friends are back to school, family members are back from summer trips and snocone stands will almost be out of season. Sadly, I only had one so far this summer but looks like I have a few weeks until summer is officially over.
However, the great thing about living in Texas is that our summers typically stay around for a little longer than most and I'm completely okay with that :)
Although summer may be coming to a close, traveling season for my job starts soon as we host two healthcare events in addition to attending partner organizations' conferences. Heath will also be busy as Y fall sports start so his Saturday mornings and afternoons will be pretty much booked. Next thing you know, the holidays will be here!
Not much to share on this post, but Heath is still begging me for a dog (no way), I made mashed potatoes out of cauliflower for the first time (yum) and we tried our first Body Pump class at the Y (easy for Heath, death for me). My little brother also starts college next week so there's that. Time does not stop.
Have a great weekend!! Now catching up in pictures...
