That's how long of a freak out I had when I didn't know if Heath got to where he needed to be safely. You can only imagine all the scenes I replayed in my head of every scary movie I've ever seen.
Yesterday (Saturday) was the longest day ever. Well, at least for me. I waited... And waited... And waited. I've never checked my phone so much in my life. The last time we talked was during his layover at the Moscow airport. I mean, it's not every day your husband travels across the world.
I went to bed last night praying that God calm my nerves. I was feeling so anxious. I just wanted to fall asleep so I could hurry and wake up to pass the night.
I woke up to nothing. I had to find a way to see if he made it. Ding, ding, ding! I realized he left his iPad with me and I kept hearing alerts that emails were coming in. I'm his wife. I can totally check it. Heath was online!! The emails coming in were saying he was trying to recover his password. No surprise. I married a forgetful man.
But I sure do love every bit of him. Lo and behold not a minute later, he emails me. I let out a huge sigh of relief. My husband was safe, and all was right in the world.
Dramatic, I know. I'm a woman. Could you expect anything less? :)
