Heath and I had a chance to go walk down Grapevine's Main St. on Thursday before the ice storm came in full force for the weekend. The roads closer to my house aren't as bad as the others around the metroplex. Luckily I have Heath here to drive if/when we need to get anything. His calm-natured personality really helps out during these kind of times because I am so high-strung. My anxiety would not allow me to drive on this ice. Heath would tell you that I can't drive either way.
After our Oklahoma trip for Thanksgiving, we put up the Christmas tree at my mom's house. I can't believe Christmas is only 18 days away!!! I hate the cold season that comes with it, but I LOVE everything else about Christmas.
One of my best friends from Oklahoma, Lauren, came in town to stay with another one of my best friends, Ryan. This meant we definitely had a girls night. We went to the Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine, and it was so fun people watching, catching up and daaaaancing.
We have some exciting news for the next post…. so stay tuned! Enjoy the Christmas pictures. Tough loss for OSU during the Bedlam game today (I married into an OSU family), but nothing that wine can't cure.
Until next time,
