Heath's Birthday Weekend in Oklahoma

We made a trip to Oklahoma this last weekend to see most of our Oklahoma family and friends.  We traveled to Kingfisher, OKC, Edmond and Rush Springs.  Heath's birthday also fell on Father's Day so it was a double celebration!  We miss our friends in Oklahoma a lot, so seeing them once a month is better than nothing.  Some of them are coming in town to see us for Fourth of July weekend so we are looking forward to that!

I had so much fun seeing some friends, but, most importantly, seeing Heath so happy with his friends and being around his family for his birthday weekend.  My sweet husband is now 26 like me!  Welcome to the old people club.  He had a cake for every day of the weekend so needless to say we are eating strict all week!  Thanks to everyone for making his birthday weekend so great.

Of course we had the best food and the yummiest desserts.  If you need desserts of any kind, or a pretty cake, make sure to contact Treats by Tayte!  Our cousin, Tayte, is soooo talented and sweet and she would love to make your dessert vision come true.  Check out her Instagram page for some pictures, but also see the picture of the cake she made for me and Heath's courthouse wedding celebration below.

Heath, I love you and I hope you had a fun birthday weekend!!  Thanks for asking me to be your wife. You are my biggest blessing.

One of my birthday presents to Heath
Coffee and a cookie for breakfast at Grandma and Grandpas :)
We took the day off Friday to extend our weekend.  It felt good to have a relaxing day!
Grandpa is so cute!
Annie took us to lunch in downtown Kingfisher called Coffee Corner.  She swore by their chicken salad and she was right - delicious!
We had dinner at Glenda and Kyle's later that evening
Heath's mama is the cutest!
Heath's Grandpa and Grandma are so sweet.  They're still so in love and I hope Heath and I share that love forever, too!
Clearly I was waiting inside for the food to be ready because I was too hot to be outside and didn't want to smell like charcoal :)
Birthday Cake #1 made by Glenda
Met some friends in Bricktown Friday night.  So glad to see Lauren!
Love Ashley & Amy :)
Birthday Cake #2 made by Crest

A true Father's Day of relaxation
Late celebrations for Annie and I so 3x the cake! (Made by Treats by Tayte!)
Thanks Aunt Crissy, Uncle Devin, Tayte and Logan for the new board game.  Heath and I love board games!
My birthday boy :)
Treats by Tayte cake made especially for us!  We were getting married on the beach the week after so she made a beach cake.  So cute!  The sand was graham crackers.  The message in a bottle was placed on the actual cake as well as a plastic pail that had brownie trifle in it.

Until next time,
