Jay's Birthday Weekend

As most of you may already know, I'm very very very close to my niece and nephew. The saying goes that it takes a village to raise a child and I am so THANKFUL that I am a part of my sister's village to be able to do so. I've watched both Jay and Nevaeh grow up... and they still have a long ways to go (thank goodness... I just want to treasure this time where they actually need me).

Jay turns 10 today... yes, 10!!! Can you believe it? Rather than make myself cry and include a collage of photos from his baby to toddler to now stages, I'm going to share our photos from this past weekend. Because Heath and I are out of town on his birthday (hanging out in NashVegas!), we celebrated him allllll weekend. We did all kinds of fun, Jay-like things (arcades are a fortune by the way), and I know he felt special and loved. My heart bursts to even think about how much I love this little boy and I can't wait to watch him grow up even more.
