If I had a theme for November (aside from the obvious Thanksgiving and being overall thankful), it would be EVENTS... hang outs... get togethers.... lots of girls night (amen amen amen!), etc. It was a month filled with a lot of planned things, which is perfect for this type A heart. These memories are simple reminders not to take any quality time for granted. Enjoy the pictures!
Girls night #1 was also a celebration for our sweet friend, Claire. I met these girls in community group several years ago. No matter how crazy and busy and stressed and fun and awesome and great life is going, these girls are not only the ultimate prayer warriors but the best cheerleaders.
Getting my wrap practice in... y'all these things are a workout! Isn't Baby Bryce so cute?!
We also got another special girls night in for Jessie's late birthday celebration.
Watching Riley's t-ball game. Our friends David and Aly (his parents) were on the field as coaches!
One of our friends is Romanian so clearly I had to join her at the food festival.
Monica (left) has been to the festival for years! Glad Chontanese could join us too :)
Went to go see Kameron's basketball team WIN!
Another event was my friend Andrea's birthday! We celebrated her over dinner with a group of girlfriends. I'm lucky to have her closer in Dallas.
Adding to the events theme, we were table hosts at Young Life's annual Night Life dinner. We've invited friends over the years and it's overwhelming to know how much our friends support the work God is doing with the ministry and how much they support us!
Heath on the far left playing the first game!
If you were to ask me what my favorite event was in November, it would definitely be witnessing one of my closest friends, Ashley, commit to new life in Jesus by getting baptized. Her tears brought tears to my eyes.... and clearly to Zaria's too :)
Heath's family came in town to hang out and we got to go see OSU play at TCU. It was really cold this weekend out of no where!
We also went to Jay and Nevaeh's Thanksgiving lunch.
Typical her :)
And last but not least, I took a work trip to Arizona so I was able to get a few days in before to see my bestie Nelly! She lives in downtown Phoenix, which is very bike friendly. They had stations everywhere for rent so it was really fun spending time with her (although it's never long enough) and being "city-ish" by riding bikes everywhere.
But wait, what about Thanksgiving? So many pictures and three Thanksgivings deserve its own post. You can check out our family fun by reading the next blog post here!
Hope you all are staying warm. It's definitely feeling like winter out there. XOXO
Until next time,
