Thanksgiving 2016

We had three Thanksgivings this year and ate a lot at all of them! Side story: I planned travels for the week and completely forgot to figure out WHAT TO DO WITH CHIEF!!! I had a slight panic attack when all the dog hotels were booked, but a Young Life senior came through in the clutch. It was our first time being away from him for that long and it was weird because I wanted to know what he was doing all the time, but didn't want to cross that line as crazy dog mom. He's been groomed since this picture, but y'all... all the heart eyes.

First up, Thanksgiving with my family in Texas at my moms :)

That same day we drove to Kingfisher to stay at Heath's mom's house. We had Thanksgiving with the Bollenbach/Payne side of the family at the farm on Friday. I'm as city as city can be - okay maybe super suburban. Farmin' is not my forte, but these are my peeps so I was happy to be around them!

Then on Saturday, we drove to Edmond and had Thanksgiving with his dad's side of the family. So yes, we had turkey and stuffing and mashed potatoes and bread and pie and more bread and barely any salad all three days. Totally worth it.

We are very thankful for our big families and love when we all get together. Can't wait for Christmas!
