- Heath and Kennedy had Spring Break so it was really nice to have them home with me. I do still work from home, but it's comforting to know that I could just go to the next room to see them during breaks or in between phone calls. We did not travel anywhere since I don't have a Spring Break and we needed that extra time to get our house ready to go on the market. More on this later...
- This was probably and will continue to be the busiest work month of the year. It's the month before conference! I had a new role this year as the meeting planner vs. marketing, so it was even busier than it usually is from years past. I sacrificed time with friends and family and had some late nights, but it's what comes with what I love doing - planning!!
- Kennedy turned 9 months and started crawling and pulling up on everything. She also started to wave and clap, but not on command - only when she wants to, which I'm sure she will be doing whatever she wants to her whole life. She is sassy. I wonder where she gets that from?
- My annual conference was the first week of the month so I was gone all week..... and who decides to get sick? :) Heath took 2.5 days off work to be with Kennedy and I had the sweetest girlfriends who came and watched her while Heath had to go to track meets.
- OH yeah - I forgot to mention Heath coached long jump this year. He really enjoys being outside, so it fit.
- Since McKays never take a break, we also decided to list our house this month. It's a great seller's market and we wanted to take advantage of that. We knew that the house we are in was not going to be long term so we are so thankful that we took a leap of faith! I know your question is 'Where are you moving?' and once we figure that out, I'll let you know. We plan to rent for at least a year, but we are looking in the Mid-Cities/HEB area.
- Kennedy turned 10 months and is now opening up cabinets, so basically getting into EVERYTHING. She loves looking at pictures of herself on my phone.
- We had some fun things going on this month: Kennedy's first Easter, one of my best friend's bachelorette parties in Oklahoma City, GCYL Crawfish Boil and Lao New Year celebrations in Saginaw.
Until next time,
