Heath and I have compiled our Friday Five's - 5 things we are currently uhb-sessed with. Yes, UHB-SESSED. They're not necessarily products... just some of our "currents"!
- Our Fall TV shows. There were a lot of season premieres the last two weeks, but this week was by far my favorite. Nashville, Scandal and Parenthood - I went from gasping to crying all in one night. I also watched the new show, How to Get Away with Murder, which was pretty good. Heath watches Scandal and Parenthood with me, but his show is Sons of Anarchy. I couldn't get into it.
- Our anniversary pictures. I can't stop looking at them. You probably want me to stop updating all my social media profile pictures with them, but I. do. not. care. I can't wait to order our photo book for our "anniversary yearbooks" in addition to ordering our Christmas card. Thank you to Ashley Rutland Photography!
- Festivals. We love going to the local festivals in the DFW area. There are so many going on, especially in the Fall, so we like to get out, walk around and support local food! State Fair of Texas started today. I haven't been since the first time I moved to Texas (maybe 2000 or so), so I'm excited to go this year with Heath! Tickets are pricey for a fair, but this ain't no normal fair y'all. Seriously considering buying a season pass.
- Quinoa. We eat quinoa with everything and use it for any rice replacement although it's only better for you by barely anything. Don't quote me on that. Stuffed bell peppers, pasta, salads, casseroles and my latest... fried rice.
- Costco. And no, your Sam's Club membership does not compare. We lucked out on an annual membership because our father-in-law needed to purchase something online from Costco, but you had to be a member. Well since he is in Oklahoma and we are the lucky ones in Texas, he just gave the membership to us! Printing pictures, car rental discounts, whey protein, the best and healthy snacks/chips, the best priced pizza, the CHURROS! and of course the samples. Be my guest and I will take you to the land of the free [samples].
Until next time,
