Anyways, time to share our October goals! I joked around with Heath and said his goal of cooking dinner once a week is equivalent to me running once a week, meaning it's highly unlikely ;)
In regards to volunteering, I would love to do more in my community that isn't initiated by my church. I know there are a million opportunities so I just need to do some research. And I think the only thing keeping me from trying to make cauliflower pizza already is that I have zero patience. So know that when I've accomplished my third goal, I also accomplished learning how to be more patient.
For Heath's monthly goals, he's been wanting a quick, daily devotional for the last few weeks. Any suggestions? And not to anyone's surprise, I make the meals around the McKay household so it'll be interesting to see how his second goal goes. I hope cooking one night a week also includes the clean-up! Heath seriously uses about every pot/pan and dish we have to make one meal. And y'all, don't even get me started on his trunk.
To give you an update on how we did on our September goals, neither of us finished a book. I technically finished my book study with one of my best friends Ryan, but I didn't write my goals until the day after we finished so I didn't think it would count. Heath wouldn't say he was on his phone less due to checking fantasy football stats, but he rarely got on social media. And in my opinion, we might as well call Heath a yogi now because he accomplished that goal with no complaint! Here are the rest…
| [Better organize dresser drawers.] I did this the first day I wrote my September goals. They're still organized and we love it! |

| It only took me a second attempt to get it right. This picture is from the first failed attempt, but now I'm saving money on iced coffee! |
Until next time,

We love your blog Natalie! I'm going to try your Quinoa Chili!
