Ways of the McKays: Fourth of July Weekend & Annual Bollenbach Shrimp Boil

Heath's family is the best at celebrating holidays, birthdays, anything and everything. I love those traditions about his family and am thankful I get to be a part of them! Since Heath had been in Oklahoma for a few weeks, we reunited when I went to visit for Fourth of July weekend. We spent a few days with his dad, Jennifer, her nephews and Annie then finished the weekend at the Annual Bollenbach Shrimp Boil on his moms side. See pictures from the first one last year here.

We ate a lot, laughed a lot and then ate again!

I got a flat as soon as I got to Oklahoma. I replaced another one the week before, got this one replaced this day and then got the other two replaced a few days after. $$$$

All you will see Heath in now are golf clothes and/or at the golf course. He is SO into golf right now. He's a really good golfer and has played every now and then, but he is full force "I'm going to go hit some balls real quick" and returns 4 hours later.

These 3 goofballs walked from Glenda's house to Grandma's in an attempt to beat their dad in steps. He got them Fit Bits this weekend and they did not waste anytime competing!

I've got some famous family. They made the cover off the Edmond Sun newspaper back in the 90s when they were kids watching the Fourth of July parade, which Grandma brings out every Fourth for display. They are trying to reenact it here. Talk about throwback!
