My niece and nephew need to stop growing up! Such is life.
We had them on her actual birthday (it was in the middle of the week) so we took them to a city waterpark and they loved it. Nevaeh would not get out of this whirlpool thing that just spun her around and around and around. We also celebrated with cake after dinner.
And here comes the fun part.... my sister rented a mermaid to come hang out with her at her pool party this last weekend! Nevaeh had the BEST time. She loves to be the center of attention and she definitely does not mind it one bit. She soaks it all in and has such a fun spirit. She is a little sassy at times, but she is too cute to get mad at. We were in charge of the desserts so we got her a fun Rapunzel cake with matching cupcakes. She loved it, and so did everyone else!
We love Nevaeh and can't believe she is five years old and starting Kindergarten this year. She loves everything pink and girly, but can be very tomboyish at the same time. We are thankful to play such an important role in my niece and nephew's lives!
