If you recall from an older post, I took Heath's request in consideration and strayed away from "country/old" stuff (as Heath likes to refer to it... think mason jars and wood) and too much turquoise (Can you ever have too much?). We are experimenting with mixmatched prints and pops of color. We love looking at house stuff now! Yes, Heath really does enjoy it. Although, I'm not sure if that's just so he can make sure I don't buy anything he doesn't like...
I'm just going to tell you right now that there are NO bedroom pictures because we absolutely hate it. Okay, hate may be a strong word. We definitely are far from loving it. We decided to work on the bedroom last, and we've been having a more difficult time trying to find the right things we want to put in there. Some prints appear more girly than others, and I want the room to portray both of our personalities but still making it "fashionable."
Here you go!
Sorry - couldn't get the right lighting.
That frame on the bottom right is supposed to go in the middle of the crosses. I want to add an iron design on top of it, but Heath doesn't know that yet... until now :)
Thanks to my mother-in-law for this beautiful gift!
I know that's not what the Core is used for... but it works for us this way :)
In regards to the meal prepping post, here are our thoughts: it is not for us! There's that time frame after work (between 5-7 PM) that I usually spend cooking. Well, that time was free time whenever we tried a week of cooking ahead. A smart person probably would have made use of that time by working out, or doing something to better themselves. I, on the other hand, spent that extra time just drinking more wine and watching Netflix. I got so bored! Anyways, cooking is my peace and I didn't like not having to do it anymore during the week.
We meal plan every week, but the whole "prep all your meals on Sunday" thing is NOT for us because we found some of the dishes we liked tasted better fresh. We agreed it was moreso for couples/families that lived busier lives than we did and didn't have time to prepare or cook a meal every night. I love cooking a fresh, healthy meal every night, and I'm sure Heath loves it too.
Have a great weekend!!
Until next time,
