Four Christmases

We've both really enjoyed our time off last week and this week, and we are still glad there are a few days left for our break :) Here is our Christmas card for this year. I meant to post on Christmas day, but got busy with family time. We didn't have enough cards and there wasn't enough time to get them in, so we had to send out two this year! I didn't get a picture of the other one though.

I finally get to show you our crafts that I am so proud of! I will have to show an after picture later, but we didn't include any mini bulldog clips so we could wrap them. After people unwrapped them, we glued the mini clips on the bottom edges of the sign so they could hang cards, pictures, etc. We made these for the adult couples on both sides of Heath's family.
For his grandparents, we made a family tree where the grandkids were the leaves, the parents were the branches and they were the trunk.
For the teens in the family and for some of my friends, we made this frame and I printed out little sayings to put on them. However, you could hang a photo or anything of your choice. Thanks to Home Depot for cutting the wood perfectly for us! Everyone loved their homemade gift.
We went to Compass's Christmas Eve service and the worship team did amazing! Our friend Ashley also joined us. Heath and I let each other open one of our gifts on Christmas Eve too - another tradition we are going to start! As mentioned in the last post, we hosted brunch for my family on Christmas Day. We also house/dog sat for one of our close friends parents so we enjoyed that little getaway too.

We headed to our second Christmas in Kingfisher Friday morning with Heath's mom's side (forgot to get pictures!), third Christmas in Edmond with Heath's dad side of the family and ended with a fourth Christmas with just Heath's immediate family on his dad's side at their house. We are so blessed to be able to see most of our family members during Christmas. We always make an effort to see each other during the holidays! Also, we had a Saturday morning surprise when we woke up to snow. Of course it melted and is all gone now, but it was pretty while it lasted. I am a big wimp when it comes to the cold, ice and snow so I appreciated it from the inside of a cozy home.
Uncle Devin and Aunt Crissy hosted at their beautiful home!
Tim & Jennifer's for our fourth Christmas
Love them!
Our sweet sisters
We are staying at Tim and Jennifer's in Edmond through the week so we are going to soak in some more family and friend time. We love staying at Hotel McKay :) Jennifer is the sweetest and always makes sure everyone is comfortable. For one, there are snacks EVERYWHERE. I cannot escape them. That, and all the chocolate Christmas desserts.
Heath and Tim made some yummy steaks!!
Jennifer's twice baked potatoes are the bomb
We are looking forward to some New Year's Eve celebrations and some more shopping! And yes, Heath loves shopping just as much as me, if not more. Reason 1,075,348 I love him.

Hope y'all had a Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!

Until next time,
