"E" Anniversary Recap

I think this tradition gets harder and harder every year to try to get as many themed things as the letter. We were very low key this year considering we just had a baby - not an excuse, just reality. We were TIRED! It's still fun to see what things we come up with to meet the tradition and then to see what we actually end up doing. In true McKay fashion, we just ate a lot to celebrate.

We celebrated FIVE years with the letter 'E'.... Yes, I said five. Time flies when you're having fun. We can't believe we've reached five years together already. I love being married and I love being married to Heath! Some things we've learned about each other now that we've been married for five years:
  • About Heath: He really is handy and can build stuff, he's actually good at studying and taking tests (not like in college LOL), he's in tune with his feelings and likes to talk about them now, and he has to follow EXACT directions when cooking meals (measurements, time, etc.)
  • About Natalie: She won't spend more than $20 on a shirt and if she does then it's considered expensive, she loves dogs.... or just one dog named Chief and she LOVES traditions
1) EXERCISE - We took a long walk to the park. There's a back entry from the neighborhood across the street from our neighborhood. Man, it was hot!

2) EGGS - We went to brunch at one of our all-time favorite places, Old West Cafe. We went ALL OUT.

3) ETHNIC - Indian food has been on our list for awhile so with a little help from Yelp, we found a lunch buffet to try in Southlake. The buffet was the best choice since we were able to pick and choose what we wanted (and ask lots of questions!) since it was our first time. It was really good!

Final Count: 3

Seems pretty pathetic, but we had fun anyway :) We thought about going to a movie for entertainment, but changed our minds because we were too tired. Oh well!
